Special Services
The Department of Special Services offers two undergraduate programs of study leading to Bachelor of Science Degrees. The first undergraduate degree program is a Bachelor of Science in Education with two options: Mild-Moderate Disabilities and Severe-Profound-Multiple Disabilities. The second undergraduate degree program is a Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. In addition, the Department of Special Services offers graduate degree programs in Reading, Special Education and Speech-Language Pathology. All programs are accredited at the state levels. Additionally, the Speech-Language Pathology program is nationally accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
The Department of Special Services consists of 13 full-time faculty and 10-11 adjuncts per year.
